Here you will be able to find out the basic principles of contextual education and try to understand the essence of the entire contextual education system, which includes a variety of projects and activities that take place in our organizations. Those who want to know more will be able to devote time to the vast oceans of media, which definitely include a lot of reflections, conversations and presentations on relevant education-related topics.

I believe there is nothing more suitable than education to create a beautiful world. And even though I often get invited to different discussions and conferences on business and leadership topics, my heart feels a genuine pleasure only when I visit schools and meet wonderful teachers, who change the lives of their students, their parents and all of us. Therefore, although I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a businesswoman, I still feel the greatest pride in being able to introduce myself as a teacher. I think there is no more amazing and meaningful work than the work which true educators of vocation carry out every day, every minute of their life.

Contextual education

After observations that lasted for more than ten years and based on the empirical research of hers and other scholars such as Scott Barry Kaufman and Ken Robinson, Dr Austėja Landsbergienė began to develop a system of education that would suit the needs of children in the 21st century. Today’s children not only need a clear structure, but also creative freedom and conditions for conscious learning and creation in an unpredictable, constantly changing world. The system of contextual education emerged in search of harmony between theory and practice, constantly applying and developing active education methods, adapting to the needs and challenges of the 21st century.
