After observations that lasted for more than ten years and based on the empirical research of hers and other scholars such as Scott Barry Kaufman and Ken Robinson, Dr Austėja Landsbergienė began to develop a system of education that would suit the needs of children in the 21st century. Today’s children not only need a clear structure, but also creative freedom and conditions for conscious learning and creation in an unpredictable, constantly changing world. The system of contextual education emerged in search of harmony between theory and practice, constantly applying and developing active education methods, adapting to the needs and challenges of the 21st century.
